Speaking practice

  • Record an audio by using the following resource https://vocaroo.com/or a different recording tool you use to do it.
Share an experience that you have had, include details about it. Put into practice the intensifiers and quantifiers we worked on in this workshop and emphasise, make them clear in your recording.
Once it is ready, please share the link to your audio and upload it on the platform. Focus on the point of the task, the vocabulary, include as many examples with the particles as possible and organise your ideas so it has a nice sequence. Add the link on a file, it can be Word or Pdf.
This is my own brief example...
  • E.g. " my next door neighbour is not a musician, but he loves playing the drums. He’s not good at all, you know. He‘s not good enough but he never minds doing it. Besides, he plays too loudly and to make things worse, he loves throwing parties at the weekends. This is getting too annoying, believe me.
The biggest issue here is my sleep-debt, I just can't sleep enough hours as I wish. Weekends is the only time I have to rest and forget about work. The point is, there is too much noise all night long, there are too many people shouting and singing, so I can't stand this situation any more!  Sounds like a nightmare, doesn't it?
