Abstracto
- By using the stereographic projection from the sphere to the complex plane it is shown that the rotations in three dimensions can be represented by complex 2 x 2 matrices and their explicit form is obtained, The effect of ail arbitrary rotation is expressed in terms of spinors and it is shown that a rotation can be represented by a spinor.
