- An explicit expression far the Lanczas potential, which generates the conforma.lcurvature tensor, is obta.ined for aH the space-times that admit a shear.free congruence of nuH geodesics, provided that the Ricci tensor is suitably restricted. The most general local expression oC the Lanczos potential of a conforma.lly flat space-time is also obtained.
